I don't have a particular preference when it comes to music. I'm "eclectic". I pretty much like all kinds of music. I like the old stuff, the new stuff and the inbetween stuff, you get the idea? The only thing I don't like is that horrible "scream your head off and can't understand a word your saying" kind of screamo music.

I'm not a very big reader. When I do read I only read what really interest's me and I mean I really have to be interested in it, otherwise you can forget it. Once again, nothing really interesting for this box.

I guess I have a few favorite movies. Both National Treasure's, Drumline, all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Braveheart, The Patriot, all of the Batman movies, and I would say my absolute favorite would be...Fiddler on the Roof, which actually was a Broadway play before it was a movie.

Hi, (whomever may be reading this). My name is Daniel but that's just my legal identity. I have many others, but too many to list, ;). Most people just call me Dan, but I suppose you can call me whatever you want as long as it is appropriate. LOL. So now that you know who I am I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 16 year old teenager from a small, little town called Hayesville, back in the hills of N.C. If you've ever wondered where your beef comes from, it probably comes from Hayesville. Here, cows make up 3/4's of the population. LOL. I consider myself to be a very devout Christian and a man of faith. God always comes first with me. However, I'm not the perfect Christian. It's hard to live a Christian lifestyle, especially as a teenager in today's world. Peer pressure doesn't help much either because most teenagers consider it "taboo" to talk about God amongst each other. I know however that I can always rely on God to guide me along the way. So enough about that.......... I'm not much one for politics. In fact I can't stand them. If I had my way with it I would just be Independent. But if you were to get down to the "nitty gritty" I would say that I'm a Republican. I tend to be conservative so I suppose I would fit "Republican Standards". I'm a very big fan of all the fine arts; Opera, Dance, Music, Drama, and everything that falls in between. I truly enjoy Broadway and am a very big fan of Classical music. Most people think I'm crazy when I tell them that but they just don't realize that with out Classical music, we wouldn't have the music of today. So think about that the next time you listen to some "Snoop Doggy Dog". LOL. I tend to be a very artistic individual or at least I consider myself to be. I love art and I love literature, but that doesn't neccessarily mean I like to read it, ;). I write poetry occassionaly in my spare time and yes...I do keep a journal. Deep, huh? LOL. I'm currenly in the proccess of writing a book which I hope to have published but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm still in the beginning stages so it will probably be a while. The title is "117 Rutherford Ln." just in case you see it on the shelves in a few years. Like I said, we'll just have to wait and see. As you already know I'm a fan of music but what you do not know is that it is one of the most important things in my life. I truly could not live without it! I participate in my high school concert band as well as our marching band. In concert band I play Tuba but I can also play flute and I am currently trying to learn a few more instruments, but that's just coming along slowly, ;). In marching band I am blessed to be the drum major for another year. It's a wonderful yet demanding job but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm truly blessed to be in such a position. For those of you who don't know what a drum major is, I just suggest that you look it up. I'm going to let you know in advance, I tend to be quite the band geek/nerd but not to an unbarable extremity so you have nothing to worry about, :). Right now I am currently a Junior at Hayesville High School and after high school I plan on attending Western Carolina University in N.C. There I intend on studying Music Education and possibly Musical Composition. After having graduated college I would like to find a job teaching music at a good high school and possibly settle down, if I find a nice girl. It would be hard for me to settle down though. Since I live in such a boring town(no offense Hayesville)I have had a dream and made it a goal for myself to leave this town and become somebody famous; to become a well known person of society, and to really make something of myself. By now your probably thinking that I'm either crazy or that my dreams are too big for my head. But what can I say, I can only hope and dream I suppose. I'm currently single but I feel no obligation or need to have a girlfriend. I've had a few offers but all of them I have refused. I guess I'm very picky and may have high standards but I just don't know. I certainly wouldn't mind having a girlfriend but I can wait until the right one comes along. Until then I'll just keep looking for her. Were just about to the end of our journey, the journey through Daniel's mind. LOL. Scary, huh? :D All in all I'm a very kind and gentle person and I love meeting new people. I can be stubborn, opinionated, and a little stingy at times but no one's perfect. I always strive to make a positive change in a person's life or at least try to make them laugh or smile because it truly does make a difference. That is my goal in life, to always make a positive change in the life of who ever I meet. I strongly believe that it's not what people give or do for you, it's what you give or do for other people and that's all that really matters in the end. I hope you have enjoyed my life story. LOL.
